Gingko

Gingko Biloba is a living fosil tree. It is the only tree of its family. Its existence is dated up to250 million years. Chinesse people call it the great great father tree.
It can live for a milenium, and it grows up very slowly.

Its leaves seem slightly segmented into two parts, and lots of times, the trunk grows into two main branches. For it, it has been considered a polarity tree: yin-yang.

It is good against stress and for bloodflow, good for brain. It is very effective in all kinds of problems attached to elder people, and it reduces heart attack risk.

It is astoundingly resistant: it has seen through millions of years glaciars, dinosaurs, climate changings, nuclear killings, it doesn't have any plague or illness, it resists pollution, heat, cold...

It is a symbol of longevity

It is telling you to slow down your path, take things slow and calmly, don's rush: fast running doesn't guarantee  meeting the destination.
Listen to your elder people. They have the wisdom of age. They have lived all kind of experiences you may not have yet.
Qualities attached to old people are being undesrtanding, sympathetic, tolerant. Grow them into you. Maybe you are not being that kind of person
Balance the polarities inside of you: yin-yang. Maybe a deep and lonlasting relationship is coming into your life
It announces something very long lasting, longevity.
Take care of your mind and of your heart. Try to make mind do exercises to be active. Don't get exposed to overwhelming work or situations that can create you stress or high blood pressure. Eat healthy tihngs for your heart, take good care of it too
Be strong in all senses. Cultivate strenght into yourself. Work for a strong body and mind. Don's give extra importance to things, don't let yourself go down for situations. Remember you can go through everything, just go always ahead.
Everyone of us is unique, as the gingko. Be just yourself in spite of difficulties or of being "the weird". Don't surrender to fashions or try to be another person to like another people. You can resist solitude, be true to yourself and you'll find all you need to be perfectly well

Holm oak

Holm oaks are simple trees, of perennial leaves. They give under shading all year, and are almost so tough as their brothers, the oaks.

They invite to gather together under it to eat, to chat, to do something together... or to sleep a siesta, meditate...

Their symbols call for: hardness, power, longevity, spiritual and material heith... Holm oak, together with oak, are divinity trees, both of them are the ones that most attractk rays (solar divinity). This means wisdom, but, be careful: wisdom can also destroy, if not well used.

So, it tells me:

Be tough and wise as a divinity. Listen to divinities archetypes, what tradition and images traditionally have meant
Join another people and socialise. Maybe you can create common projects with anybody. But be careful who you join with, watch well before involving yourself in any kind of shared project or relationship
Relax, sit down and meditate, listen to your deep wisdom and that of nature. Stop and listen to what life is bringing you and why.
Be tough, don't surrender to difficulties or troubles. Use your own power to get on

Rose

ROSE

This is the queen of flowers. Considered the most beautiful of them, it has lots of colours from white to red. Even purple, and blue Incredible! Each of one has its own symbolism: red for passion, white for purity, and inocence, pink for friendship love, yellow and orange for happiness...

Formed by lots of petals, soft, even, and thick, its form is perfect. It follows a fractal pattern.

And what can we say about the scent? Its delicate, intense and elegant fragance is universally considered THE fragance. They are needed 2000 to 4000kg rose petals to get 1kg of rose essential oil: the absolute of rose...

It also reaches kitchen: dishes prepared with rose petals are considered delicious, delicatessen: sauces, ice creams, salads, jams...

Roses are tough, they resist frosts and they can be exposed to hard sun. They need water, but not in excess. They call for some cares such as retiring dead flowers and trimming. And the fruit can be very good for health: the rosehip, full of C vitamine...

So, for me, roses are suggesting:

Be beautiful, take care of your body and of your external beauty, enjoy looking at yourself, combing yourself, your clothes, make up... Practise some sport or discipline to be in the mood and make your body be healthy

Be accurate in your forms, be natural, follow natural patterns, don't go against nature and its ways, cicles...

Be beautiful inside yourself, get balanced in your in and outside, your body and mind, and soul, get your own essence, unique and perfect. The process is difficult, but everybody is more happy and full if they live according to their own deep being

Cultivate yourself to be an elegant and a delicatessen person

You can be beautiful, but also tough, get used to all situations, don't fall into routines, and operate accordingly with each situation of your life.

Be just yourself into your complete beauty!

Conjunctio and Fortuna Minor

Some months ago, I played with my geomancy deck, and what it came out was these two figures. After interpreting them together, and considering I was asking for love affairs, I interpreted it was coming an opportunity, a man (conjuctio) that I should take in the moment, or it would be lost (fortuna minor). It also was warning at the possibility of a short but intense relationship with that man (I'm hetero), or even a relationship that seems to be solid, but it actually isn't
Now, with the perspective, I can see what truly this prediction was: I was involved with a very interesting man I knew, I thought that it would be the beginnig of something long, because we know each other for some time. But it ended in 4-5 months. It was beautiful being loved and love him, but it came to an end
Besides, both of us are gemini!

It's got to do with mercurius and gemini, and the genius is called Al-iqtirán

This figure is the one attached to harmonic relationships: asociations, alliances, agreements, contracts...

And all that is related to mercurius: travels, comunication, mails, writtings...

Is the figure of love, friendship, affinities with a person...

It's shadow reflects lose of comunication, unsteadyness, infidelity, disagreement

You can combine it with Al-Iqtirán, in the place of the lungs, or reflex part, on wednesday, to paint with hena, and to help with shakings, incomunication, fear from talkin in front of an audience...

I'll describe Fortuna minor at another time... Sorry!

Camelia

Camelia is one of the first flowers of spring. It takes a long time to form the blossom and later, the flower itself. It is big, it can be pink or white.

It needs moistured floors, and not too much light, so it is good for North orientations

For me, the messages can suggest:

Don't be impatient, let all good things in life take their time to form themselves

Although it can seem to you that there is not happening anything, there are processes happening below

The end of a difficult or sad period is coming, and it will bring good things

Love, pure feelings

Believe in things and in people

Good moment for magic

Fertility, seeds growing, baby coming

Puella Al- Burquán

Yesterday, I took my geomancy cards and turned out puella

Puella is the girl, attached to Al- Burquán yin and to Venus. In Arabic is Al-Bint. Related to green colour, copper. It is related to The Empress in the tarot

You can find it in beautiful places, in Nature, beautiful gardens or museums...

Make a henna tatoo to heal sicknesses related to genitals, kidneys or infecctions, or seal the energy that puella suggests (see below). You should draw it on your face, breasts, kidney area, female pubis
You combine the figure with al-burquán symbol:
 Puella energies are related with:
  • sweetness, tenderness, kindness
  • Quiet and healthy life
  • Adaptation ability, flexibility, comprehension, being tolerant
  • Pure and true love, shared feelings
  • Inspiration, living intelligence
  • Beauty, grace, charming
  • Pure pleasures, good for you
The shadows of puella:
  • Pasivity,lazyness
  • Superficiality, being changeably
  • Excess in pleasures
  • Submission, dependancy
  • Irreality
  • Insecurity

This is one example

Geomancy

Geomancy is a very old oracle.

It was created in the deserts of old Egypt, Persia... and north of Africa, where they used it as an oracle or as a healing method, combined with henna. It is said that from it, such divinig methods as tarot, I-ching and others were created. Who knows! ;-)

It is formed by a binary system of dots: one or two dots and 4 lines form the figuers, there are 16 figures, attaching to diverse aspects of life and spiritual behaviour

Healing use of geomancy: These figures are attached to 7 Genius (there are two figures for 1 genius), associated to the 7 planets, and to places. Each genius are energies, they have  entrance, stagnation and exit zones, and are the ones who move healing forces. With henna tattoos on this places you can attract those forces to heal you, combining the symbol for the genius with the figure. This is an ancestral wisdom live only in some remote places in the North of Africa
This example at the left corresponds to Al-Burquán, genius corresponding to Venus, with the figure of Puella

Divining uses of geomancy:
  • you can make the Nagwa, that´s a kind of astral chart where you place all the figures formed for you in this precise moment. You make some points and there is a procedure of forming concrete figures. They are placed according to astrological houses and from this, interpreted
  • You can make cards for each figure and drop them
  • You can calculate one figure to get a message
It is another way of knowing yourself

Paracelsus would know it and studied it. There is a card deck that's inspired in geomancy
